Why is Latin Raising so important?
According to Harvard Scholar Samuel P. Huntington, the hegemony of the western civilization is being challenged by the resurgence of Asian and Islamic civilizations. While China, India, and their neighboring countries quickly accumulate economic power which is translated in political and cultural power, lessening the influence of western civilization in Asia and in the rest of the world, the high population growth of the Islamic civilization, accompanied by religious fundamentalism and terrorism, is endangering the fragile coexistence of all the civilizations and at the same time the world stability.
Here in Latin Raising Organization, we beleive the future of the western civilization and the leadership US of America in the world politics depends in great measure on the effective integration of millions of Latino immigrants into the US society and the conformation of a real Pan American block of countries that will lead the western world through economic, cultural, and political development.
We are witnessing the raise of Latino population and its culture within US, where 1 in every 3 habitants is going to have Latino origin by 2050. The fate of North American and South and Central American population are deeply tied, and governments from both sides have failed to recognize it. Sooner or later the constant movement of people from the south towards the north will re-shape the face, politics, culture, and composition of the US and consequently of the world. For more than 400 years, Latinos as a group have been in the shadows and have not been involved in the important decisions that have defined the history of the world. However, for the first time Latinos are going to have the power of influencing all the internal and external decisions of US, the most powerful nation in the world.
This phenomenon is as important for western civilization as it was the growth of Christian population among the Roman Empire. Latinos in both sides of the continent slowly are pushing for the integration of north and south although the opposition of politics, historians, and scholars from both hemispheres. History has reach a point of no return where Latinos, who have embraced the North American values as freedom, democracy, the rule of law, work ethic, education and so on, are revitalizing the North American culture by restoring the importance of the very first traditions of the western culture as religion, family, traditions, and heritage, which have lost preponderance because of secularism. Although the current differences between governments from North and South, the integration is inevitable and is being accelerated by four catalyzers: (See the Four Integration Catalyzers section for explanation)
The more US government fails to acknowledge the importance of Latinos in their home country and in the countries located south of its border, the weaker US and the western civilization become. It is fundamental that US politicians start a coherent plan for integrating Latino immigrants in the US society and promote a plan for developing the economies of Latin American countries. North and South have become brothers and US of America must take care of its family and sacrifice part of its wealth in order to ensure its own well-being in the near future.
